Enquiries and complaints regarding real estate agents
Enquiries and complaints about real estate agents are dealt with by the Estate Agents Resolution Service (EARS), which has been established within CAV to offer a dedicated service for information, advice and dispute resolution on real estate issues. For more information, see the EARS fact sheet.

It is recommended that you try and solve the problem with the real estate agent first. If you are unable to resolve the issue directly with the agent, please telephone the Estate Agents Resolution Service on 1300 73 70 30 to discuss your matter further.

After you have first spoken with an EARS representative, you may then lodge a complaint by:
      Consumer Affairs Victoria
      GPO Box 123
      MELBOURNE VIC 3001

  • faxing the complaint form to (03) 8684 6310
