Who:Imad Numan
Action:Criminal Proceedings – Melbourne Magistrates Court
Offence:Mr Numan was not licensed to trade in cars; he advertised five motor cars for sale in the Trading Post.

He replaced a speedometer cluster in one of the cars and advertised the odometer reading for this car at 69,000 kms below the original reading. He did not inform the purchaser, who relied on the accuracy of the odometer reading.

Date:11 August 2009
Outcome:Mr Numan was fined a total of $2,500 with conviction and ordered to pay CAV’s costs of $1,800.

Who: Zoran Mladenovski
Action: Criminal Proceedings - Melbourne Magistrates Court
Offence: An unregistered builder who entered into a major domestic building contract, not using the proper contract and charging excessive deposit.
Date:4 August 2009
Outcome:Mr Mladenovski was sentenced to a six month good behaviour bond without conviction and ordered to pay compensation to two consumers totalling $7,000.
