You can use this form to tell Consumer Affairs Victoria of any scams you may know about.

We'll use this information to help fight scams in Victoria.

We won't contact you regarding your submission via this form. However, if you are a victim of a scam, please use our consumer complaint form or contact the Consumer Affairs Helpline available on 1300 55 81 81.

If you believe you have sent money to a scammer through Western Union, contact them immediately on 1800 173 833. If you used a credit card, contact your bank or financial institution immediately.

Consumer Affairs Victoria recommends that you keep a copy of the scam materials (ie. email or letter), just in case we need to contact you for further information. Is your online scam form not loading?
Some internet browsers may have difficulty loading CAV Online Forms due to certain internet settings. If you are experiencing very slow loading or a failure to load the forms entirely, the below steps may help.
