The media unit is the first point of contact for journalists and other members of the media wanting information about Consumer Affairs Victoria and its activities. The media unit's role is diverse and its staff are in constant contact with all branches and divisions of CAV.

The media unit prepares media releases, speeches and contributes to many CAV publications. We respond to journalists' enquiries, organise launches promoting CAV's products and objectives, arrange media interviews and prepare communication plans.
