On Wednesday 4 July, Consumer Affairs Victoria inspectors attended the Sebel Albert Park Melbourne where Stephen Pierce was holding a private educational event.
Mr Pierce advertised the event as:
“Discover How A 35 Year Old Former High-School Dropout Turned His Life Around And Today, Pulls In A MASSIVE $387,065.41 Per Month On The Internet Using His Proven, Easy To Follow, Step-By-Step System…”
Inspectors made contact with the seminar organisers and venue managers and explained who they were and what they planned to do prior to the seminar commencing.
Inspectors also handed out consumer legal rights information and Consumer Affairs Victoria contact details to attendees. The information included the following:

- No statutory cooling-off period applies to any contract you enter into with Stephen Pierce or the seminar promoter, Knowledge Source.
- The registration form for this seminar contains important information. READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY, especially the fine print before signing it.
To PROTECT YOUR INTERESTS CAV recommends that you:
- CAREFULLY READ all documents you receive particularly any document you are asked to sign. Do not sign any document until you understand what it means and you agree with it.
