If you are a newly registered user and your application has been approved, the Residential Tenancies Bond Authority (RTBA) will mail the password to the Officer in Effective Control.
It takes about two to three business days to receive your RTBA Online password. The password will be mailed to your agency, addressed to the Officer in Effective Control.
The RTBA does not encourage you to share your RTBA Online access password with others, especially if you have Level 2 access. Treat this password as you would your online banking password.
If you need to reset your password, select the ‘Forgot your password’ link on the property manager sign in page. the system will send an email with a temporary password. You will be able to log in using this temporary password. As soon as you log in using this temporary password, you will be prompted to change it.
If you cannot provide the answers to the security questions, you will need to register for a new user account and send the RTBA a request to cancel the old account.
