If you are a newly registered user and your application has been approved, the Residential Tenancies Bond Authority (RTBA) will email the password to the Officer in Effective Control.
You should never share your RTBA Online access password with others, especially if you have Level 2 or Administrator access. Treat this password as you would your online banking password.
To reset your password at RTBA Online
, select the ‘Forgot your password’ link on the property manager sign in page and the system will send you an email with a temporary password. You will be able to log in using this temporary password. Once logged in, you will be prompted to change it.
If you cannot provide the answers to the security questions, you will need to register for a new user account and contact the RTBA on 1300 137 164 to ask them to cancel the old account.
