Consumer Affairs Victoria staff will be on hand to provide information about your building or renovating project at the Victorian Government stand at the Melbourne Home Show 2017.

Our staff will help you learn about choosing a builder, understanding your contract, or insurance queries. Staff from Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), the Victorian Building Authority and the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority will also be there.

You can visit our stand to find out more about the many developments in the building and renovating area supported by the State Government in the past 12 months. These include:

  • an online building tool to assist people in navigating information relating to building and renovating
  • DBDRV, an independent body designed to help resolve domestic building disputes.

The Melbourne Home Show runs from 17-20 August at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Southbank.

For more information, visit the Victorian Government page on the Melbourne Home Show website
