A woman has been fined $700 for operating as a prostitute without holding a licence and publishing a statement intended to induce a person to seek employment with an escort agency.

Patricia Lauricella pleaded guilty in Ballarat Magistrate’s Court and was convicted of two offences under the Prostitution Control Act 1994.

The fine will be paid to the Prostitution Control Fund.
