The Executive Director, Regulatory Services has responsibility for the operation of Consumer Affairs Victoria. As the Director of Consumer Affairs Victoria, the role exercises statutory functions relating to the legislation that CAV administers.

To help carry out our role as Victoria’s consumer affairs regulator, we are supported by services from across the Department of Government Services, including the Information and Dispute Services Centre, Communications, Finance and the Consumer Affairs Victoria Legal team.
This includes an important relationship with the Regulation Policy team who manages the development and delivery of policy and law reform proposals for consumer affairs. Its executive structure includes:
