Real estate agent Rodney Broadbent has been reprimanded and had his licence suspended for 12 months by the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) for breaches of the Estate Agents Act 1980, including deficiencies in his trust account.

On 24 February 2012, a VCAT disciplinary inquiry into Mr Broadbent upheld five alleged grounds, including identified deficiencies in Mr Broadbent’s rental and sales trust accounts in December 2010 and February 2011.

Mr Broadbent rectified the deficiencies in February 2011.
