Melbourne Magistrates’ Court has made interim orders restraining children’s toy retailer and wholesaler Top Blue Pty Ltd and its director, Ping Zhang, from supplying or offering to supply identified goods including assorted sunglasses and battery operated whale toys.
The interim orders follow separate raids by Consumer Affairs Victoria, in which unsafe toys and sunglasses were seized.
The court also ordered:
- a public warning and recall notice to be published on the company’s website – topblue.com.au – and at its business premises
- full refunds be paid for all the goods identified in the public warning and recall notice which are returned to the business.
