The Estate Agents (Fees) Regulations 2007, which set fees for estate agent licenses and related services provided by Consumer Affairs Victoria, are due to expire on 16 July 2018.
The proposed Estate Agents (Fees) Regulations 2018 are intended to come into operation on 1 July 2018.
The Regulatory Impact Statement (RIS) for the proposed regulations assesses four options for fees for estate agents, and identifies a preferred option.
The RIS and regulations are open for public consultation until 5:00 pm on 25 May 2018.
