Customer quotation – funeral provider obligations

Before entering into an agreement with a customer for a funeral, you must give the customer an itemised statement (or quotation) separately listing the:

  • cost of goods and services selected 
  • service fees 
  • disbursements. 

Each item on this quotation (except disbursements) must reflect your price list. View our Price list requirements page.

This quotation must also state that you have a complaint-handling procedure, and set out how the customer can make a complaint.
