Fundraiser registration lasts for three years. It is your responsibility to renew your registration via myCAV at least 28 days before it expires, if you want to continue fundraising.
Six weeks before the registration expiry date, we will notify the fundraiser responsible person via myCAV that your renewal is due.
A condition of renewal is that any late or outstanding annual statements must be lodged via your myCAV account.

After you lodge your registration renewal
It normally takes 28 days for us to complete your registration renewal.
We will notify you via myCAV with the outcome of your renewal application. This could be:
- confirming the registration renewal
- updating any conditions if necessary
- requesting further information, or
- informing you that you are not eligible to renew your registration and cannot conduct any fundraising appeals.
You must only proceed with further fundraising after you receive a myCAV notification advising that your registration renewal has been approved. Please check your notifications.
