Purpose

The purposes of the Association are—
(1) To act as an umbrella organization for sports clubs using A.G. Gillon Oval, Brunswick, and other sports grounds and facilities in and around Brunswick (“Associated Clubs”).
(2) To manage the use by Associated Clubs of A.G. Gillon Oval, Brunswick, and of other sports grounds and facilities in and around Brunswick.
(3) To liaise and deal with Moreland City Council, and other owners of sports grounds and facilities used by Associated Clubs, on behalf of Associated Clubs.
(4) To provide opportunities for all members of our community, regardless of age, gender, cultural and linguistic background, ability or disability, to participate in sport, whether as a player, administrator, official, volunteer or supporter, and to enhance their health and wellbeing through participation in organised sport.
(5) To provide for the health, welfare and wellbeing of players, officials, supporters and spectators of Associated Clubs and of its members generally.
(6) To foster and encourage junior sport in our community.

Financial information

Please note: From 1 July 2018, if a Victorian Incorporated Association is also registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), they are exempt from lodging annual statements to Consumer Affairs Victoria.
