Purpose
Thayagam is a non-profit organisation that works toward uplifting the people affected by the war in our motherland. From addressing their basic needs to developing the education and economic conditions back home, Thayagam works towards strengthening the hands of the community that deserves attention and assistance in post-war Sri Lanka. One such area is education.
Education is the focal point of Thayagam because we believe it is the foundation for a brighter future. We here at Thayagam seek to provide a reliable education pathway to poverty-stricken children who would otherwise be forced to drop out at an earlier stage of their schooling. We strongly believe that investing in education will help build stronger minds and, thereby, a more substantial future generation.
