Consumer Affairs Victoria has released a Regulatory Impact Statement (RIS) on the proposed Owners Corporations Regulations 2018.
The proposed regulations are intended to replace the current Owners Corporations Regulations 2007 which are due to expire (sunset) on 3 December 2018.
You can make comments or provide a submission on the proposed changes. Submissions close on Thursday, 30 August.
The proposed amendments to the regulations concern:
- audits and maintenance plans for prescribed owners corporations
- model rules
- professional indemnity insurance
for registered owners corporation managers
- major capital items
for maintenance plans
