Purpose

The purposes of the association are—
1. to promote, develop and encourage participation in community activities, particularly sport, with the
main emphasis on basketball, in the City of Darebin and surrounding areas;
2. to support the formation of, and help recruit players for, predominantly junior domestic, basketball teams;
3. to organise training venues and facilities as necessary for the club teams;
4. to appoint, and support the development of, coaches for the club teams;
5. to develop the club identity, and promote awareness of the club in the City of Darebin and surrounding
areas;
6. to support, financially or otherwise, any activities designed to achieve the above purposes, as determined
by the committee of management.
