Consumer Affairs Victoria Director Nicole Rich has issued a public warning about Force Industries Pty Ltd, trading as Find Sports (ACN 072 364 231).
Find Sports is a Dandenong South-based retailer that offers sporting goods via findsports.com.au.
Rich believes issuing this warning is in the public interest given Consumer Affairs Victoria has received a spike in concerning contacts about the company’s operations.
Contacts include allegations that Find Sports is failing to:
- supply goods in a timely manner, if at all;
- provide refunds; and
- respond to consumers.
Given the number and the serious nature of the issues raised, Rich is urging consumers to be cautious when dealing with Find Sports.
Consumers who have not received goods they purchased from Find Sports may be able to ask their bank or card provider for a chargeback or raise a dispute with their online payment provider, depending on how they paid for the goods.
