From 15 November 2017, you must use our online myCAV system to lodge your annual statement and pay your annual fee.
To start using myCAV, you will need to create your own myCAV account, using a personal email address to verify your identity and sign in to your account.

You must lodge an annual statement with the Business Licensing Authority (BLA) via myCAV and pay an annual licence fee within the six weeks leading up to the anniversary of the date you were granted your licence. For fee amounts, view our Fees and forms page.
The BLA will notify you via myCAV that your annual statement is due approximately six weeks before your licence anniversary date. It is your responsibility to inform the BLA if you do not receive this notification.
You are responsible for lodging an annual statement and paying the fee when required.
If you do not lodge your annual statement and pay your prescribed fee by the due date, the BLA will send you a late notice via myCAV and you will be liable to pay a late fee. For fee amounts, view our Fees and forms page.
If, after 21 days, the BLA still has not received your annual statement and fee, your licence will be automatically cancelled. For more information, view our Licence cancellation - estate agents page.
Extension of time
In exceptional circumstances, the BLA can give you an extension of time to lodge your annual statement and fee.
To apply for an extension of time, you must send the BLA a request in writing via firstname.lastname@example.org, with the prescribed fee for extensions, within six weeks of the anniversary date of your licence. For fee amounts, view our Fees and forms page.
If you fail to lodge your annual statement
If you do not lodge your annual statement and fee by your licence anniversary date, or within any extension of time you have been granted, you will get a notice from the BLA, via myCAV, stating a final date to lodge your annual statement and fee. Please check your 'Notifications' in myCAV.
If you fail to lodge your annual statement and fee by this final date, your licence will be automatically cancelled.
